Setting The Low Speed Needle

Author: Bill Cousins

The low speed needle valve is usually very close to the sharp prop so don't try and adjust it with a ordinary small screw driver. Make yourself a LONG screw driver and it is very simple. Buy a handle from your local hardware store and get yourself a long piece of steel rod (about one foot long ) and drill a hole in the handle and epoxy the end of the rod into the handle. Now on the other end just grind a flat head and there you have it. Now your little screw driver and your tender finger tips are away from the prop.
